KEYENCE GT2-H32 High-Accuracy Digital Contact Sensor Head

GT2-H32 is a KEYENCE GT2 series contact sensor head for precise displacement and dimensional measurement. It uses a quartz glass scale with CMOS image-sensor projection in an absolute Scale Shot system, so the sensing head operates without tracking error; it must be connected through the specified cable to compatible GT2 signal-processing equipment.

GT2-H32 provides a 32 mm measuring range, 0.5 μm resolution and 3 μm indicated accuracy (p-p). The published accuracy applies at 20 °C, so the installed temperature and complete measurement setup must be considered during verification.

At the center of its measuring range, GT2-H32 has a representative measuring force of 2.1 N when mounted downward, 1.8 N when mounted sideways and 1.5 N when mounted upward. The force can vary with the installation state of the dust boot.

The sensor-head cable for GT2-H32 is optional and connects through the M8 connector. Confirm the selected cable, contact, compatible GT2 amplifier or signal-processing unit, connector orientation and measurement settings before installation or replacement.

GT2-H32 is rated IP67 and is specified for -10 to +55 °C without freezing and 35 to 85% RH without condensation. Its vibration specification is 10 to 55 Hz at 1.5 mm double amplitude for two hours in each X, Y and Z direction.
